Unlike most other Back Office service providers, you can retain 100% ownership of your business when partnered with SSG, meaning you call the shots and make all the crucial decisions. You always have SSG’s team of experts on hand to help you make the best strategic choices so you can achieve your goals in the fastest way possible. 

In some cases, we offer our clients additional financial investment in exchange for a equity in their business. This allows us to help you accelerate your company’s growth and unlocks additional and exclusive SSG services. 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It starts with a call. You’ll speak with a member of our Investment Team, and they’ll take the time to understand what you want to achieve. Then, together, we’ll explore which of SSG’s products would best serve you in reaching your goals. 

From the moment you decide to launch your business with SSG, you can be trading and billing within four weeks, and every step of the way you’ll be guided by one of our business launch specialists.

WHEN CAN I START BILLING? 

From the moment you decide to launch your own business you can start getting to work (within the guidelines allowed by your current employer). We get companies to a point where they can trade within four weeks – the most common notice period for most of our clients – but in reality, we work to your pace. 

If you’ve got no ties to a present employer, and can start billing right away, you can start to earn even sooner – as soon as your business is registered with Companies House and your chosen bank. 

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? 

The first thing all our clients do is speak to a member of our Investment Team. Once you’re happy and your mind is made up, we’ll put you in the capable hands of our onboarding team who’ll get the ball rolling. 

Put simply, if you partner with SSG, we’ll make sure everything you need is taken care of. 

HOW DOES SSG HELP? 

We understand that starting a business is a big deal – that it’s complicated and difficult, and your motivations are personal to you. That’s why we have the team of specialists in house that we do – so you don’t need to concern yourself with any of the things outside of recruiting for roles. 

Some SSG clients like to focus solely on recruiting, and they’re happy to leave the rest to us. Others take more of an active interest in the mechanics of their business, and choose to speak with our team members regularly so they understand what’s making their business tick.  

Ultimately, we don’t mind, we’re happy as long as you’re happy.

Typically, when our clients start out their focus is on more of a niche market to not spread themselves too thin, however, as the business grows some may choose to branch out into different specialities.

We cover the whole of the UK – so whether you live in Cornwall or Aberdeen or anything in between then we will be able to partner up with you. 

This doesn’t, however, restrict you to working solely within the UK market as we can assist those who recruit internationally as well.

One of the most understated challenges that all recruitment entrepreneurs face is the emotional rollercoaster of launching and running your own recruitment business. 

Running your own business is exciting, but it can also be an intimidating and lonely experience – at least, it would be without the support of our Client Support Services team. 

Our team will be able to help form a strategic growth plan for your business, mapping out your own bespoke roadmap to success, at a pace which suits you. 

What’s more, all of our Client Support Services team have experience in recruitment and business ownership, and will mentor you as you transition from employee to managing director.

The good news is: SSG have you covered – and there’s no departure from what you’re used to. Simply put, you collect your timesheets, upload them to our portal, and our Payroll experts will do the rest. 

If you’re wondering where the money comes from on week one, when you have the pay your temps before your invoice has been paid – we have that covered too. SSG are partnered with market-leading factoring providers, to ensure that cash flow is never a problem for your business. 

Factoring companies will advance you the money you need to cover your costs and your candidates’ wages until your invoice is paid – what’s more, they’ll also chase your invoices if your clients are late to pay.
